My thoughts on it all

Jul 11, 2003 / 2 Replies Wtf? Out of sheer vain curiousity/boredom, i check out justin.com, hoping to register and therefore be uber-r337. No such luck. Some [link http://www.justin.com]douche-bag[/link] has beaten me to the punch. Just a quick gander (highly underused and underappreciated word, btw) at the front page had me scratching my head. Who TF cares that much about a name? "56th most common Male name" "Look it up in the Census!" WTF? What kind of exciting content is "Look it up in the census"?

You may now refer to me and Juicestain, btw.

Teenage Shot For Shot Remake of Raiders...

Jun 2, 2003 / 1 Reply WTF, OMG, and huh? Were the 3 things that hit my head at roughly the same time, after/while reading [link http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=15348]this[/link] review. 3 not-even-grass-on-the-playing-field kids (10, 11, and 12) decided to make a SHOT for SHOT remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark, in 81. Now, we're talking BETAMAX. There's a small trailer at the bottom of review, the quality is unbeleiveable. I hope someone leeches this, bad.

A local group of wifi geeks made wired.com. They took a roadtrip to SF in style: 2 vans connected via wifi with a multi-processor linux server to serve up some CS! Gooooooo Geeks!

ColdFusion and Linux

May 8, 2002 / 0 Replies Here's the deal: We're currently running coldfusion on a set of Win2k servers. I'd like to migrate over to Linux, but I cannot lose any info or functionality. So heres my question: How easy would it be to migrate over? Simple copy/paste once the server is setup, or is it more indepth than that? And how hard is it to setup a linux server with coldfusion? Anyone have any experiance?

Romeo and Juliet - Tales for the L33T

Apr 30, 2002 / 1 Reply [link http://www.starterupsteve.com/swf/romjul.html]This[/link] is just too funny to pass up. I never thought l33t would take off like it has, but I do find myself wanting to say things like "roxor" and "fuxor" a little too often. Thank god I usually stop myself before it's too late :).

Trophies and Sexual Preferences: You be the judge.

Apr 23, 2002 / 1 Reply Anyone else wonder about the LPGA's sexual preference? Ok, not wonder, but [link http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/020422/168/1fjje.html]know[/link].
I just couldn't pass this one up, thanks [link http://www.shacknews.com]shacknews.com[/link]. Go ahead and post any amusing links you might have ;)

Earth Lights

Apr 12, 2002 / 9 Replies Here's a [link http://www.somuchstyle.net/~beezel/earthlights_dmsp_big.jpg]cool picture[/link] to get a poster of (read back to mb's free nasa poster article). I was suprised to see how dark the old USSR and China are. Especially China, considering the sheer volume of people. The US west coast is amusing, you can really tell where LA, SF, and SEA are at. Not to mention the whole Wabash strip on the east coast.

Damn, who's that sexy guy in the new webcam?

Feb 25, 2002 / 6 Replies Thats right, finally fixed the webcam saga. Dont know what it was, after using webcam32 I tried iVista with the same results. Now I'm using CoffeeCup WebCam...seems to work very well. Even has motion-sensing security stuff. Pretty neat.
